During a hot summer run, I learned to estimate sweat rate by weighing myself nude before and after exercise. Step 1: weigh pre-session and note duration. Step 2: weigh post-session within 15 minutes, nude. Sweat rate ≈ (pre − post) / hours of activity, adjusting for fluids you drank. Do a couple trials to get a reliable average; keep conditions similar.

Grab a scale and weigh yourself before a workout, then after, in a controlled setting with minimal clothing. Track fluids you drank during the session. Sweat rate = (PreWeight − PostWeight + FluidIntake) ÷ duration (hours). Use kilograms to keep it simple (1 kg ≈ 1 L). Do several sessions to get a reliable average.

I measure my sweat rate by a simple pre- and post-workout weigh-in. Do it naked in the same conditions: weigh yourself before a consistent workout (around 60 minutes), then again right after, with the same clothes and environment. Note fluids you drank and any urine. Sweat rate (L/hour) = (start weight minus end weight plus fluids consumed minus urine) divided by duration. 1 kg equals about 1 liter.

Weigh yourself nude before and after a fixed workout, subtract fluids you drank and any urine, then divide weight loss (g) by hours to get mL/h.
